CASEarth Administration

CASEarth is a huge systematic project with integrated disciplines. In order to ensure the successful implementation of CASEarth, it is imperative to launch a top-level design, comprehensive coordination and scientific management. Through an indepth assessment of the CASEarth requirements in terms of data resources, infrastructure capabilities, technology platforms, this project will develop scientific top-level design, software and hardware integration mechanisims, data product standardization mechanisim and application integration for CASEarth. CASEarth Administration consists of four sub-projects.

(1) The object of overall design of CASEarth is to research and demonstrate the overall design programs of CASEarth, from forming a scientific and rational overall technical plan and technical roadmap.

(2) Establishing a supporting system for data sharing, CASEArth Administration adopts a broad perspective in to carry out in-depth study in data sharing policy, data sharing ecology and data sharing practice.

(3) CASEarth DataBank system development aims to build the intelligent big data service chain from data storage, processing, analysis to deep learning and, finally towards information and big earth data products.

(4) Satellite Engineering Project is broadly responsible to ensure smooth implementation of the project including but not limited to organize different elements of the project, organize project demonstrations, get relevant approvals for the project from CAS, launch successfully and pass the on-orbit test.
